Select Calibration Incorporated is a calibration service provider for coordinate measuring machines certified by the Standards Council of Canada under the Canadian Laboratory Assessment Services (CLAS) program in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.

Quality PolicySelect Calibration Incorporated was established for the sole purpose of providing high end calibration services for coordinate measuring machines, in the shortest time possible, at a competitive cost. It is the policy of Select Calibration Incorporated to continuously improve upon the process of coordinate measuring machine calibration by adopting the latest technology and methodologies from the calibration industry where possible.

Accreditation Scope


Accreditation ScopeThis scope of calibration capabilities is published by CLAS of the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) in close co-operation with the PALCAN program of the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), Canada's accreditation body for calibration and testing laboratories. The SCC accredits the capability of the named laboratory for being able to perform the listed calibrations at the given Calibration Measurement Capability (see Supplementary Notes C and D) with traceability to the International System of Units (SI) or to standards acceptable to CLAS.

Sample Strict Acceptance Report


Sample Strict Acceptance ReportSample strict acceptance report for coordinate measuring machines.  This report was created in response to the often asked question of machine accuracy following a calibration.  Using the data from the E0 and E150 performance tests a limit is calculated that contains all measurement errors increased by the expanded measurement uncertainty.  The limit represents the machine error stated with a level of confidence.  Two methods are used for determining the strict acceptance limit and both appear on the report.
