Sample strict acceptance report for coordinate measuring machines. This report was created in response to the often asked question of machine accuracy following a calibration. Using the data from the E0 and E150 performance tests a limit is calculated that contains all measurement errors increased by the expanded measurement uncertainty. The limit represents the machine error stated with a level of confidence. Two methods are used for determining the strict acceptance limit and both appear on the report.
